How to apply for BIS Hallmark Registration?

- Obtain Application Form I from the BIS federal agency. Remember to complete the application and submit it with the form, along with the registration cost of INR1000.
- Also, submit documents to verify the address of the manufacturing facility for which the trademark is applied.
- A copy of your registration certification from the right authorities, either state or local, or from a CA (Chartered Accountant) if you are applying as a small-scale industrial unit.
- Procedure flow chart that covers various steps from raw material production to completed goods.
- Also, a full catalogue of machinery, detailing the name of each item.
- A detailed description of the production procedures, including any outsourced work, as well as a copy of the agreement.
- There must also be a list of testing facilities that includes all relevant information such as testing equipment name, range, least count, test equipment accuracy, calibration status, and number.
- Calibration certification copies of testing machinery valid for at least 3 months after filing your application.
- Agreement letter signed by a recognized laboratory.
- Copy of supplier test reports or certifications for each raw material.
- Copy of in-house or independent test reports for all items meeting Indian Standard requirements.
